To help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in our community, Carter Memorial Library is closed to the public until further notice. As updates become available, we will post them on our website and Facebook page. In keeping with Governor Evers' Safer at Home order, curbside service is no longer available.
As a result of our closing, we are taking the following steps:
- Fines will not be assessed on any materials currently checked out during this time.
- All programs, events, and meetings scheduled to take place at the library have been canceled until further notice.
- All holds on materials have been suspended and will not be filled until after the library reopens.
- The digital services offered by the library (Wisconsin's Digital Library/Overdrive, Gale Courses, Homework Help, our Research and Local History resources, etc.) will continue to be available through our website.
The health and safety of our patrons and staff are our number one priority. This is a rapidly evolving situation, so we encourage you to continue to monitor our website or Facebook page to watch for updates. If you would like to receive email updates, sign up for our e-newsletter here. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we face this challenging time together.
